OUR PARTICULAR TALE OF THE EASTER BUNNY

In a nice school, near the sea and the mountain called HORMIGUITAS, there lived a rabbit called Cuchufleta. He was a very, very happy bunny because he loved to watch the children play, and in this school called Hormiguitas, every day there were lots of children playing, jumping, running and singing all over the place.

Cuchufleta used to hide in the big pine forest around the school and watch the children from there. But one day Cuchufleta thought:

-If all the children are always laughing and having such a great time playing in the park. with the motorcycles, running and singing all over the place …. then I want to have that kind of fun too.

Then, when all the children went to eat, Cuchufleta came out of her burrow and began to run and play in Hormiguitas until she couldn’t take it anymore, and went back to her burrow to rest, but left everything uncollected.

When the children returned to the park to play they found everything in disarray, and then, the teacher, surprised to see all the toys lying around and the motorcycles in the park, ordered all the children to sit in a circle and think about who could have done it, but nobody knew.

The next day the same thing happened again. Cuchufleta had had so much fun that, once again, when everyone left for lunch, he went out to play and mess everything up until he got tired. Then, the teacher had an idea, the next day, after having tidied up everything, they would hide so they could catch the person responsible for the mess red-handed, and so they did.

What was their surprise when, hiding, they saw Cuchufleta the rabbit! When they saw him, they all came out of their hiding place and said to him:

– We got you

The teacher and the children sat down with Cuchufleta and explained to her that they could not mess things up. That they would be very happy for him to come and play with them every day, but then he would have to pick up everything, everything.

So the rabbit was very, very happy because everyone wanted to be his friend, but he was also a little sad because he had been making a mess. Then he had an idea, he hid little chocolate eggs all over the school for the children to find, making a little path with them until he got to the big Pinada, where there was a huge sign that said: “I’m sorry friends, I won’t do it again. Thank you all”. And underneath the message they found another pile of chocolate eggs.

From then on, every day Cuchufleta and the children of Hormiguitas always played together and picked up everything, everything, everything.
