During the vacations, children tend to get up rather late. So now it’s time to get up early for back to school.
But how can we make it easier for them? Here are a few tips. Take note!
First of all, the ideal is to allow the child to wake up on his own or, if you do it, to wake him up at the end of a sleep cycle. To do this, it is essential to know how much sleep he needs depending also on his age.
Try writing down, during the weekend, the number of hours a week you sleep on average. If you count backwards the number of hours from the time he needs to wake up, you can calculate the time he needs to go to bed so that he wakes up spontaneously and is rested.
Follow the steps below:
- Wake him up 15 minutes before timeso that he can wake up.
- It is important that you do it with patience, always using affectionate words, caresses and kisses.
- As for food, a completebreakfast will be the perfect complement to start the day with energy. It is advisable to eat foods rich in vitamin C that help to keep us awake, preferably kiwis in the morning, and bananas in the afternoon, which, due to their magnesium content, act as a muscle relaxant.
- Finally, physical activity will also help you adapt to the changes in your schedule, butit is important to keep in mind that in the morning when you get up you should do more dynamic exercise, while a more gentle or maintenance activity is preferable in the middle of the afternoon and in natural light.
